In Haitian Culture, "Simbi Dlo" is the name of the water spirit, who is called upon to facilitate solutions to problems.
Every Simbi sold provides clean water and sustainable jobs to Haiti through the Aqua Haiti Initiative.
Purchase With Purpose
Simbi was founded in 2013, after the devastating 2010 earthquake. Long time friends Birgit Grossmann Coles and Lori Manuel Steed discovered a way they could support those most affected by the catastrophe, while pursuing what they love: art and fashion for a cause.
Look Good, Do Good, Feel Good.
Our products are high quality, handcrafted accessories and fashion collections. Recognized for our unique style & philanthropic efforts, wearing a Simbi will make a memorable & lasting impression.
Every Simbi accessory is handcrafted in Haiti by local artisans to provide sustainable jobs in a place where there are so few. Inspired by traditional style of “La Vallée”, we preserve precious Haitian culture by carefully hand-embroidering many of our pieces with 17th century techniques.
Simbi's one-of-a-kind wearable art that provides clean water to those who need it most, will make you Look Good, Do Good, & Feel Good, each & every time you wear them.
These amazing & empowering women have a long history of partnership, initially joining forces to sell and promote local Haitian art back in 2003!
